Weight restriction to be introduced on Coatbridge bridge for at least two years due to deteriorating condition
dailyrecord.co.ukA 7.5 tonne weight restriction will be implemented on the bridge over the rail line on the B803 Sunnyside Road in Coatbridge on April 6 - for at least two years.Network Rail, which owns and maintains the bridge, have requested the restriction because its deteriorating condition means it is no longer suitable for heavy vehicles.The weight restriction will help to limit further deterioration of the bridge and allow it to be used by most vehicles.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
