Manchester United will be hoping to put an end to their miserable Anfield record of recent years when they face Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.

It's been a tough week for United, with Erik ten Hag's side being knocked out of the Champions League just three days after a humiliating 3-0 loss to Bournemouth at Old Trafford.

A trip to Anfield is next up for United, and the clash will be a tough one both physically and mentally for Ten Hag's men. United were battered 7-0 on their trip to Anfield last season, with their last win away to Liverpool coming way back in 2016.

Ten Hag's side will also be without Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire, but Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford are both available.READ MORE: INEOS yet to meet Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag ahead of investment READ MORE: How Manchester United should line up vs Liverpool To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 24 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.
