Walkers axes sixth crisp flavour as it tells fans 'we're sorry to break it to you'

Foodies have once again been left devastated after discovering that Walkers had discontinued yet another popular packet of crisps.

The British food manufacturer has axed a few fan favourites over the past few months, with the likes of Regal Mint & Lamb Sensations, Worcester Sauce and Salt & Vinegar Quavers being pulled from store shelves.Now Cheese Mixup's have officially joined that list, after the brand confirmed on social media that it no longer makes the flavour, making it the sixth discontinuation in recent months.

One fan recently queured the crisps' absence on social media. In the latest blow, crisp fan Alex Hooper posted on X, formerly Twitter: “@walkers_crisps have u stopped making the cheese mix-ups?”, reports Wales Online.In response, Walkers apologised that it would no longer be manufacturing the crisps, writing: "We’re sorry to break it to you, Alex we’re not making this flavour anymore."A selection of supermarkets including Tesco, Asda and Co-op are still stocking the flavour, but no more are being made.The new revelation means that there are now six less Walkers flavours on store shelves, with five of them being binned within the last month or so alone - including the Max Flamin Hot and Peking Spare Rib oriental crackers.
