It comes amidst the controversy that surrounded the build-up to the match, where The Black Cats hospitality bar inside the Stadium of Light was decorated in Newcastle colours - yet behind the decorations was a plaque reading, ‘Cheer Up Peter Reid’.Sunderland apologised immediately after images were leaked online and claimed it was 'a serious error of judgement'.
But the six thousand strong visiting support couldn't help but put the spotlight on the incident by highlighting Reid, who had a seven-year spell in the Sunderland hot seat between 1995 and 2002.
