manchestereveningnews.co.ukTributes have poured in for Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers who has died at the age of 66. Dave's TV partner Si King announced, on Thursday morning, that he sadly died on Wednesday night with his friends and family by his side following his brave battle with cancer.
Si and Dave found fame together as part of the motorcycle-riding cooking duo with their friendship spanning 30 years. After news of Dave's death broke tributes have been paid to the chef who was described as 'a very special man'.
TV chef Paul Hollywood said he was “gutted” to hear the news. Commenting on the announcement post shared by Myers’ co-star Si King on Instagram, the Great British Bake Off judge said: “Gutted Si, this is terrible news!
