Shannen Maria Doherty (born April 12, 1971) is an American actress, producer, and television director. She is known for her roles as Jenny Wilder in Little House on the Prairie (1982-1983), Maggie Malene in Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985), Kris Witherspoon in Our House (1986-1988), Heather Duke in Heathers (1988), Brenda Walsh in Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990–1994), Prue Halliwell in Charmed (1998–2001), and BH90210 (2019).

Tori Spelling reveals final conversation she had with Shannen Doherty: I’m ‘not doing well’

“90210MG” podcast, Spelling reflected on the last conversation she had with her former “Beverly Hills, 90210” co-star, who died July 13 at age 53 after a years-long battle with breast cancer.“I’ve had a lot of death in my life,” Spelling said. “And I don’t believe in regrets, but I have a lot of regrets that I didn’t have that time to have a second chance to get past stuff from the past and look at all the good things and really talk it out and have that last conversation.”“And I feel like she and I had that, and I’m super grateful for that,” Spelling added.Spelling’s co-host and fellow “90210” alum, Jennie Garth, said on the podcast she was happy Spelling reconnected with Doherty. “We got to see each other once in a while, but I was thinking definitely of you, Tori, and how happy you must have been to have that time with her and to have that sort of just reconnection on a deeper level as both of you matured and grown and learned so much,” Garth, 52, explained. “I wished that I had had that opportunity, because I didn’t really get to sit down and have like heartfelt conversation with her recently,” she added. “But I was very glad that you did.”Spelling played Donna Martin on the 1990s series, which was co-created and executive produced by her late father, Aaron Spelling.Doherty was on the first four seasons before her character, Brenda Walsh, was written off the show.In 2015, Spelling admitted that she played a big part in Doherty losing her job.

She claimed in the Lifetime special, “Tori Spelling: Celebrity Lie Detector,” that she told her dad that Doherty and Garth weren’t getting along to the point they almost had a physical fight.Doherty and Garth didn’t always get along when they worked together.
