A three-storey home which has just gone on the marketed with a guide price of £60,000 may tempt some house-buyers, but it does have a catch. While the house is on three levels, it only has one bedroom which is less than six square metres - with room for a bed and little else.

At £60,000, the property has a guide price that is considerably lower than a standard terraced house in the area, and goes up for auction on March 22, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The average price of a terraced home in Littleborough, Rochdale town near the south Pennines, is £166,922 according to Zoopla - more than £100,000 more than the guide price. However then low price means the buyer needs to be prepared to settle for a small living area.

The property is made up of just a one-up, one-down layout - and doesn't even have a proper bedroom. The mid-terraced home is noticeably narrower than the home next to it when viewed from the outside.
