Three men have been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on a busy road in Manchester city centre. Emergency services were called to reports that a Mercedes car had crashed on Oxford road at 1.20am this morning (April 9).

Three men were taken to hospital with serious injuries after being treated at the scene by paramedics. A 22-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and attention. Oxford Road was earlier closed between Dover Street and Booth Street West, but has since reopened. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Three people are in hospital after a single-vehicle collision in Manchester today (9 April 2023). “A Mercedes car crashed on Oxford Road at about 1:20am and three men were taken to hospital with serious injuries after being treated at the scene by emergency services. “There was a scene on through the night but the road is now open.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested for causing serious injury by driving without due care and attention.
