This Morning star splits from husband but says she's looking forward to 'next chapter'

This Morning star Georgina Burnett has revealed she's split from her husband Andy Flawn and is "excited for the next chapter".

The 44 year old TV presenter, who regularly features on the ITV daytime show, recently took to social media to share the sad news in a rare post about her personal life.

Georgina, who previously worked as a weather presenter, shared a message on both Twitter and Instagram about the end of her marriage and opened up about being a "single mum". "So it’s time for me to share some personal news for a change," the star wrote. "Something I’ve been dealing with this past year is my marriage splitting up." She continued: "Never easy for anyone, especially the kids, but don’t worry, I’m not alone today and I’m excited about my next happier chapter and making the most of my life as a very fortunate single mum." Georgina went on to advertise some skirting she recommends from Skirting World and also told her fans she's "moving on" before adding: "please no pity party".
