Phillip Cox, 82, passed away on February 17th from a heart attack. Many residents of Hyde came to pay their respects at a memorial service held on the March 11, with old friends and family coming from as far away as the USA, Canada and the Falkland Islands. "He was easily the most kind hearted person I knew.
He was the most selfless man I knew and it's one of the main reasons I married him. "He was my other half, we both married quite late, I was 52 years old, I am 80 now.
Even though we married late, it was the best years of my life. "He would always treat me the best he can, it was the most fun years of our lives surprisingly.
