This Morning viewers were left less than impressed when a paid game was introduced to the ITV daytime show. Fans, disgruntled that free-to-enter Spin To Win has been replaced, voiced their outrage as hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard launched the new coin drop game on Monday's show on 1 July.
Callers have to pay £2 to get involved, but there is a tempting top prize of £20,000. Despite a lot of cash being up for grabs as the top prize, ITV viewers took to social media platform X, previously called Twitter, to vent their frustrations about the game, which they dubbed a doppelganger of popular show Tipping Point.
One angry viewer posted: "Cannot believe they replaced the free spin to win with a £2 entry game of bl***y plinko #ThisMorning." Another fan grumbled: "£2 to enter P*** off! #thismorning." A third person jabbed: "Ooooh a new game...
S****ing Point #thismorning." And a fourth criticised: "This s*** has replaced spin to win and there's a £2 fee, no thanks #thismorning", reports the Mirror. To play the game, players must be over 18 years old, apply within a certain time frame and pay the entry fee.
