The products recalled from Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Iceland and TK Maxx over safety fears

Several items from popular high street stores have been recalled over fears they have been contaminated with E. coli or may contain insects.

Recalled items listed on the Chartered Trading Standards Institute website over the last month include mini cupcakes, crisps and supermarket sandwiches.

Product recalls are made by traders about products which could affect the safety of those using them. As a result of a packaging error, some packs contain Coffee and Walnut Cupcakes. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to walnuts (nuts).
