A Lanarkshire team of volunteers have been hailed for their tireless work in removing the scourge of fly-tipping from their communities.

The McLeanTeamAlba group have spent a couple of days bagging rubbish and fly-tipping in the area behind the Carrick Hall in Coltness and Belhaven Park in Wishaw.

Approximately 60 bags of rubbish, several shopping trolleys, 13 bin bags of cans and lots of scrap materials have been removed from the area.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
