Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

forever and always.Taylor Swift thanked her record number of fans in Australia on Sunday after she played three “Eras” Tour shows to a whopping 288,000 people. “96,000 people the first night, 96,000 people the second night, 96,000 people tonight.

All of that, those are all the biggest shows I’ve ever played on a tour and you did it three times,” Swift, 34, told the screaming crowd at Melbourne Cricket Ground in a clip posted to X (formerly Twitter). “The math is that it’s 288,000 people in three nights,” she continued. “Melbourne, you are the love of my life.

I cannot believe you, what have you done.” “It’s just incredibly nice to do for someone. Make them feel welcome like that,” Swift continued.“Another thing that makes me feel very lucky, honestly, [is] standing here knowing I have the most incredible opening act on this tour,” the “Bad Blood” songstress continued referring to her bestie Sabrina Carpenter, who has opened for Swift several times.

The singer’s comment comes mere days after a fan posted a clip of Swift on the social media site telling the Friday night’s attendees that she was “starstruck” by the achievement and that the performance was “the biggest show that we have done on this tour or any tour I have ever done.” “That’s the version you get of me tonight, the version that’s completely starstruck by the fact that so many of you wanted to hang out with us on a Friday night in Melbourne,” the 14-time Grammy winner said.
