Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Disney+ announces huge Taylor Swift news for fans without Eras Tour ticket

It's a good year to be a Swifty for sure. Taylor Swift fans have been desperate to get tickets to the hottest show in towns across the globe of late as the superstar singer continues on her highly-anticipated Eras Tour.

And now Disney+ has dropped the full trailer for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) movie ahead of its release next week.The US hitmaker will play three dates in Edinburgh's Murrayfield in June, after the huge world tour kicked off in March last year.

She's already jetted to South America, Japan and Australia for the shows and, currently in Singapore, there are still a few global dates before she hits UK soil.But for anyone who hasn't managed to bag their entry to one of the upcoming shows still to take place - including 15 dates across the UK in Scotland, England and Wales in June and August - the new film, titled Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), will soften the blow, especially as it features five new songs, including Cardigan.The Eras Tour movie launches on Disney+ ahead of new album The Tortured Poets Department, which is scheduled for release on April 19.

And luckily, at the moment, fans can snap up a deal on the streaming site - the chance to bag all their content, including Taylor's movie, for £1.99 a month for three months, but you'll have to be quick!
