Taylor Swift terror attack suspect seen posing with knives and ISIS flag
dailyrecord.co.ukA teen who has been accused of plotting an ISIS terror attack at a Taylor Swift concert has been pictured for the first time.Officials released a photograph of the 19-year-old suspect, named only as Beran A, at a press conference at the Foreign Ministry in Vienna earlier today.
Beran A, who was arrested in Ternitz, south of Vienna yesterday, is photographed showing off two large knives with a pin of an ISIS flag on his t-shirt.
It was reported authorities had arrested two suspected extremists. One had allegedly appeared to be planning an attack on the event in the Vienna area.The second person was arrested in the Austrian capital on Wednesday afternoon.Taylor Swift was due to play in front of 170,000 fans over the course of three nights in Vienna before organisers Barracuda Music announced that the event had been cancelled, reports the Mirror.She was set to perform at the Ernst Happel Stadium on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and is next due to play five dates at London's Wembley Stadium between Thursday, August 15 and Tuesday, August 20.
The singer, 34, is said to be "horrified" at the thought of the terror attack being successful after the tragedy of Ariana Grande's devastating Manchester gig.
