Staff at a Glasgow restaurant were shocked yesterday when a member of popular band 1975 stopped in for brunch.Well-known Bassist Ross MacDonald dined at The Old Fruit Shop, Old Castle Road, Cathcart, on Friday afternoon ahead of the band's gig at the Ovo Hydro.

Staff at the busy brunch spot were 'starstruck' to see the music star eating in their restaurant. Ross stopped for a picture with a member of staff with the candid snap being shared to Instagram later in the day, reports Glasgow Live.The Old Fruit Shop shared the pic online, along with the witty caption: "We'll give you 1975 guesses as to who popped in today!! "A huge thanks to Ross Macdonald @rass1975, for visiting...we were somewhat starstruck!!" Fans couldn't believe it, commenting "no way!?", "omg!".The 1975 had two gigs in the city this week, the first on Thursday night and the second on Friday.Fans even camped out on the Clyde Walkway and outside the OVO Hydro days before doors opened just so they could make front row.
