South Lanarkshire locals asked to help influence EV charging locations

South Lanarkshire Council is encouraging locals to take part in a survey about electric cars.The local authority is seeking out anyone who uses an electric car or intends to buy one, to help influence charging point locations.Findings from the survey will help support the council’s electric vehicle strategy, helping to identify the best locations and capacity of EV charging points in the area.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

"We want as many local people as possible to take part in this survey.“We’re looking to understand their views and opinions on what a successful electric vehicle charging network should look like across the area.“The survey will only take a few minutes to complete, and your thoughts and views will help shape the council’s EV strategy.”The initiative has been funded by the Scottish Government to help reduce vehicle emissions and help meet government targets for net zero emissions.

The survey can be completed online and will be available until December 31.
