Travel disruption due as Lanarkshire road set to close for six days without diversions

Monklands drivers are warned they face possible travel disruption - and are urged to plan ahead with their journeys - as there won't be any diversions available during an upcoming six-day road closure in Airdrie.The town's Glenacre Drive will be shut from January 16-22 for drainage works for a housing development.The closure will run between the extended east kerb line of Glenpark to 75m east, with no alternative routes on offer.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
