Windfarms blow in multi-million boost for Lanarkshire communities

Communities across Lanarkshire have now benefited to the tune of almost £7m from ScottishPower Renewables funding thanks to the power of wind.

The cash boosts – provided through dedicated community benefit funds at the company’s onshore windfarms across the region – puts money directly into the hands of locals and empowers them to make decisions and allocate the funds in the way that will have the greatest impact locally.
