A second man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man in east Manchester. Ramal Ingram is accused of murdering Zikel Bobmanuel in Sandywell Street, Openshaw, on Saturday (March 25).

Police believe the 32-year-old dad died after being shot. Mr Ingram, of no fixed abode, appeared in the dock at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today (March 30).

The 38-year-old spoke only to confirm his name, address, and date of birth. READ MORE: Woman, 92, woke up to find couple in her bedroom - it was just the start of her horror ordeal He appeared in the dock wearing a grey jumper and matching tracksuit bottoms.

No pleas were entered. The case was adjourned for a preliminary hearing to be heard at Manchester Crown Court on Monday (April 3).
