Snow is set to fall in parts of Scotland tonight with temperatures expected to plummet to as low as -15C in parts of the country, the Met Office has warned.

Lows of -15C have threatened to dump up to six inches of snow in parts as the nation braces for the Troll from Trondheim's return, reports the Mirror.The weather phenomenon is currently travelling across Scandinavia, and Scotland is braced for a repeat of the pre-Christmas freeze which left swathes of the country blanketed in snow.
And it could be just hours away with much of the north Scotland already under a weather warning for snow and ice, which lasts until Wednesday.The Met Office's latest five-day forecast reads: "Snow showers in the north with a widespread frost.
