Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.
Scotland's First Bus launches streetwear collection inspired by country's bus routes
dailyrecord.co.ukFirst Bus has unveiled a streetwear clothing range inspired by bus routes across Scotland.The UK bus company, based in Aberdeen, created the fashion line in collaboration with popular Scottish creatives.
It is set to be available to the public later in February.Included in the limited-edition range is a screen-printed t-shirt, a hand-stitched bucket hat, and a sling bag.
It has been put together as part of a larger campaign by First Bus encouraging young people under 22 to explore Scotland using their free bus pass.The campaign has previously seen the creation of a ‘nursery grime’ music video and the installation of eye-catching wings murals across both Glasgow and Aberdeen.
A TikTok filter, which allows the user to ‘wear’ the colourful wings from the murals, has also been created for young people to further engage with the rollout.The streetwear line will be made available to Scotland’s young people for free, and will launch in Glasgow and Aberdeen.
