Ruby Stokes, who played Francesca Bridgerton in the first two seasons of the Netflix series Bridgerton, is explaining her decision to leave the show.

The 22-year-old actress announced last year that she would be departing the series and she has already been replaced for season three.

Francesca had very limited appearances in the first season. In the second season, she appeared in the first three episodes but then disappeared without explanation after that.

In a new interview to promote her current project, Ruby explained her exit. Keep reading to find out more… “It wasn’t an easy decision.
