Meghan Markle has issued a blunt response after Spotify cancelled her podcast. The audio producer announced that the "Archetypes" podcast would not be renewed for a second series.

Following the cancellation, a spokeswoman for the Archewell productive media company said: "The team behind Archetypes remain proud of the podcast they created at Spotify.

Meghan is continuing to develop more content for the Archetypes audience on another platform. "A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess confirmed the split, they said: "Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together. "During its sole series with Spotify, Archetypes explored labels that hold women back.

When it launched it was top of Spotify's charts of most listened-to podcasts in its first week. Furthermore, the podcast had a long list of celebrity guests including Mindy Kaling, Mariah Carey, Trevor Noah, Serena Williams, and Paris Hilton.
