Prince William has "closed his mind" to a "reconciliation" with his younger brother Prince Harry amid the ongoing rift, according to a royal expert. The brother's relationship has been in a downward spiral since 2019 and has only worsened following the release of the Duke of Sussex's explosive memoir Spare in January 2023.

It comes after speculation emerged that Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are "keen for reconciliation" with the Royal Family after the prince reportedly called his father, King Charles, for his birthday earlier this month - ending a six-month stalemate between the two. This prompted speculation as to whether Harry and Meghan would be invited to spend Christmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham House, where they traditionally.
