Prince William breaks silence on Kate Middleton following mysterious memorial absence
dailyrecord.co.ukPrince William has got back to royal duties - just days after he pulled out of a major royal event at the last minute citing a 'personal matter'.On Thursday, the Prince of Wales attended the Western Marble Arch Synagogue in Central London, where he spoke to young ambassadors of the Holocaust Educational Trust who advocate against hatred and antisemitism.
He also met with Holocaust survivors and said he and wife Kate were concerned about the rise in anti-semitism, reports the Mirror.His visit was the second engagement where the prince has been learning about human suffering caused by the ongoing war in the Middle East and the subsequent conflict in Gaza, as well as the rise of antisemitism around the globe.Earlier this week, on Tuesday morning, William had been due to attend a memorial service for the late King Constantine of Greece - however, he did not attend.
Kensington Palace did not elaborate on William's absence but it was understood not to be about the Princess of Wales' continued recovery at home in Windsor from abdominal surgery last month.
A source said at the time: "The Princess of Wales continues to be doing well."His absence meant Queen Camilla led the royals at the service for the last King of Greece, who was a close friend of King Charles and William's godfather.King Charles, - who is currently being treated for cancer - was also absent from the service at St George's Chapel in honour of Constantine.
