Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. She is an outspoken feminist and has addressed issues of gender inequality, and her lifestyle website The Tig featured a column profiling influential women. She represented international charity organizations and received recognition for her fashion and style, releasing a line of clothing in 2016.
Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may no longer be in the Royal Family but there is one major link to the Firm that they still retain.Despite stepping down from their senior working royal roles back in 2020, the couple still remain the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which were the titles given to them by the late Queen on their wedding day in 2018.Four years after their dramatic exit from the Firm and their very public feud with the royals, the couple continue to use their titles and are now displaying them prominently on their brand new website Sussex.com alongside a royal crest.Many have begun to question why Harry and Meghan have been allowed to keep their duke and duchess titles after the series of attacks they have made on the senior royals in the last few years.This started with their bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview back in 2021 where they made a shocking number of allegations about Harry's relatives, the Mirror reports.A year later they released their explosive Netflix docuseries where they further discussed royal life followed by the duke's tell-all memoir Spare.In the fallout from these accusations, the royals are said to have discussed stripping their Sussex titles "at the highest level" which evidently never happened.In an interview to promote Spare on US TV last January, Harry was specifically asked by interviewer Anderson Cooper why he and Meghan were still using their titles after how much they had railed against their treatment while in the Royal Family.The duke issued a frank six-word explanation to the question as he replied: "And what difference would that make?"
