A police search has been launched to find a man who has not returned after leaving home on his bike. Bernard McDerra, 76, is thought to have left his home address in the Scholes area between 11am and 1pm on Thursday (April 11).
Greater Manchester Police believe Bernard left on his red road bike. The force said officers and his family are becoming 'increasingly concerned' about the 76-year-old, whose whereabouts are unknown.
A picture of Bernard was shared as part of the appeal issued by GMP, along with an image of the bright red coloured bike he was thought to be riding. Family are becoming increasingly concerned for Bernard whos current whereabouts are unknown. "Bernard is believed to have left his home address in the Scholes/Lower Ince area on his red road bike as seen below between 1100-1300 today.
