Police issue urgent appeal to trace missing man from Scots town
dailyrecord.co.ukPolice are seeking the assistance of the public in tracing missing Andrew Morton, who has been reported missing from Ayrshire.The 58-year-old was last seen in Irvine's Kilwinning Road/ Castlepark area at around 2.30 pm on Friday, 2 August 2024.He is described as white, around 6ft in height with short, brown hair.
When he was last seen he was wearing grey jogging trousers, a dark grey hooded jumper and black trainers.Inspector Michael Cowan said: “We are extremely concerned for Andrew’s safety and wellbeing.
Extensive enquiries and searches are ongoing to trace him as soon as possible to ensure that he is safe and well.“Although Andrew was last seen in the Irvine area, he is from Catrine so he may have tried to make his way there.“I urge anyone who may have seen Andrew or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to please contact 101 quoting reference number 2425 of 2 August, 2024 as soon as possible.” Don't miss the latest news from around Scotland and beyond - Sign up to our daily newsletter here.
