Police declare section 60 order after young man seriously hurt in 'targeted' shooting

An investigation is now underway after a 20-year-old man was left seriously injured in a 'targeted' shooting in Little Hulton on Sunday evening (May 26).

Emergency services descended on Aspinall Crescent at around 9.30pm following a 'suspected firearms discharge'. Greater Manchester Police said shots had been blasted at a house.

The victim, now confirmed to be a 20-year-old man, was rushed to hospital from the scene where he remains with serious injuries.

A scene remained in place overnight and throughout Monday amid ongoing investigations into the incident.
