Police were alerted to reports of a body found by a man and a woman who had been walking along the River Wyre yesterday (February 19).

The body was discovered a mile downstream from where Nicola Bulley vanished in St Michael’s on Wyre on January 27. Whilst the missing mum-of-two's distraught family await anxiously to hear if the body is Nicola, a witness who saw the discovery has said that a helicopter and drone were deployed to help in the search.
