Bolton-raised telly favourites were reunited as they watched Bolton Wanderers' 4-0 triumph over Plymouth Argyle at Wembley Stadium.

Paddy McGuinness and Vernon Kay were cheering in the stands as their heroes lifted the Papa John’s Trophy. Top Gear and Question of Sport presenter Paddy, 49, and new BBC Radio 2 mid-afternoon host Vernon, 48, grinned for a picture with former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Ivan Campo on Sunday (April 2).

Sharing the joy-filled picture on his Instagram Paddy exclaimed: "What a day!!! I’ve been there for the losses so this feels all the more sweeter." And he added to the League One teams: "Massive congratulations to everyone at @officialbwfc.

Commiserations @only1argyle no doubt you’ll go on to win the league. #boltonwanderers #bwfc."
