Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

Oasis legends Liam and Noel Gallagher have quashed rumours that they'll be hitting the stage at Glastonbury Festival "or any other festivals" next year. After whispers of a headline slot at Glastonbury Festival due to their impending reunion tour, the Oasis icons took to X, formerly Twitter, to address the speculation. "Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year."In reference to their comeback tour, they also stated: "The only way the band will perform will be on their Oasis Live '25 World Tour."Earlier this week, the brothers made headlines by announcing on social media that they've ended their notorious 15-year spat, signalling the return of Oasis to live performances.

The 14-date tour includes two dates at Edinburgh's Murrayfield on August 8 and 9 and on Wednesday night, the Britpop legends revealed a pre-sale.

The official Oasis Facebook page released a link to sign up for a pre-sale ballot which successful applicants will be able to access on Friday August 30 ahead of general sale on Saturday August 31.Fans lucky enough to be selected will be sent an email with full access information on Friday morning but have been warned that success in the ballot does not guarantee them a ticket.

All tickets will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.Concerns have been raised about potential tickets costs, after music promoter MCD confirmed they'll start at €86.50 (£72.96) plus a booking fee, which means Oasis is on course to harvest a massive €15m from ticket sales for their two Croke Park Dublin gigs.
