North Lanarkshire Council mark Care Day 2023

Young people involved with care experience joined North Lanarkshire’s Provost and the local authority’s education convener to celebrate Care Day 2023.

Pledges made at the Promise Conference by corporate parents to support and improve the care experience for young people have been posted to the chamber tower at Motherwell Civic Centre.

Care Day is an annual international celebration of the Care Experienced community and the theme this year is to challenge the stigma faced by the community.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
