Noel Gallagher breaks silence on divorce and blames it on a 'midlife crisis'
ok.co.ukOasis singer Noel Gallagher has spoken out for the first time since splitting from his wife. Noel and his wife of 22 years, Sara Macdonald, 51, announced that they were divorcing back in January amid reports he had moved out of the family home.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the pair told the Daily Mail: "Noel and Sara will together continue to look after their children who remain their priority.

Now, the 55-year-old has talked about his divorce for the first time with quotes obtained by The Sun showing that Noel attributes his divorce to a "midlife crisis". "When you get to your mid-fifties, you do come to some kind of crossroads in your life. "It’s not uncommon for people who have been in long-term relationships to go their separate ways in their fifties." He continued, "I know a lot of people in the same boat as me and Sara. "Particularly after the pandemic.The midlife crisis thing is true for men and women." The couple share two children: Donovan, 15, and Sonny, 12.
He has received support from familiar faces such as model Kate Moss, who has been divorced before herself.The pair have been friends since the nineties, and have appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox together.
