Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger (born Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente; June 29, 1978) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, actress and television personality. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she initially performed in high school at Clark AB plays and studied at Wright State University before dropping out to pursue a musical career touring alongside American rock band Days of the New and through Popstars, became part of the short-lived girl group Eden's Crush. Scherzinger rose to fame as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls and released the albums PCD (2005) and Doll Domination (2008) becoming one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time.

He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.

Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

Niall James Horan (born 13 September 1993) is an Irish singer and songwriter. He rose to prominence as a member of the band One Direction. In 2010, Horan auditioned as a solo contestant for British singing competition The X Factor. After being eliminated as solo performers, Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson were put together in a band.

Nicole Scherzinger was instrumental in forming the global sensation One Direction and maintained a close bond with Liam Payne until his untimely passing.

The Pussycat Dolls icon, 46, was part of the X Factor judging team that brought together Liam Payne with fellow contestants Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, and Zayn Malik to create the boy band phenomenon in 2010.It has now recently come to light that she remained in contact with Liam right up until his tragic death and was even texting him on the day that he died.

The 31-year-old singer passed away in Argentina on October 16 following a fatal fall from a third floor balcony and heartfelt tributes continue to pour in, the Mirror reports.Andrew Lloyd Webber, who worked closely with Nicole on the Broadway musical Sunset Blvd, shared insights into their connection.

He disclosed to Billboard: "I suppose something that hasn't been said, and I suppose I could say, is that of course she mentored Liam, from One Direction."
