Nicola Roberts breaks down in tears on GMB two years on from Sarah Harding's death

Nicola Roberts has opened up on the heartbreaking loss of Sarah Harding, almost two years on from her death. The Girls Aloud star died in September 2021 from breast cancer and two years on from the star’s death, her bandmate Nicola has opened up on the grief she feels.

Fighting back tears on Good Morning Britain, Nicola shared how she feels that Sarah’s death is “not really that real” to her, as she imagines she’s still out there enjoying life.

Speaking to Kate Garraway and Ben Shepherd on the GMB sofa, Nicola was asked how she was coping with Sarah’s death. Ben said to Nicola: "I can't believe it's two years this month since we lost her and grief's a funny thing, isn't it? "It hits you in waves and I bet there are moments where she pops up into your mind and you want to phone her up because something's happened and you just want to have a laugh with her.

How have you dealt with it?" Looking emotional, Nicola then replied: "I think that everybody deals with grief in different ways.
