The cause of death of Bobbie Jean Carter, sister to Nick and Aaron Carter, has been revealed. According to an initial case summary report, obtained by US magazine, People, Bobbie Jean died from "intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl and methamphetamine" with her death listed as "accidental".
Officials said that Bobbie Jean, who was 41 when she died, had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, which was listed in the "medical history" section of the report.
Bobbie Jean passed away last December in Florida, leaving behind her eight year old daughter, Bella. Her death came a year after her younger brother, Aaron Carter, also tragically died, aged 34.
In November, Aaron, a former child star, was found drowned in his bathtub, under the influence of Xanax and difluoroethane.The Carter family had previously lost another sibling, Leslie, who died in 2012, aged 25, due to an overdose.
