New apartment block proposed for former nightclub site in Oldham town centre
manchestereveningnews.co.ukPlans for a new five-storey apartment block in Oldham town centre have been lodged. A developer has applied to the council to erect 19 flats for market housing in a block on Bridge Street.
The site was previously occupied by a nightclub, but is now standing empty after demolition was approved by the local authority in 2013.
A number of proposals have previously come forward for the land, including apartments, and commercial space, but these have not been progressed. Of these, 11 would have one bedroom and eight would contain two-bedrooms. It is also proposed to include seven car parking spaces on the lower ground floor.
