MyKayla Skinner Says She's Getting Death Threats, Asks Simone Biles to Put a Stop to It

The 27-year-old gymnast made some comments during the Olympic trials, saying, “besides Simone [Biles], I feel like the talent and the depth just isn’t, like, what it used to be.” “A lot of girls don’t work as hard,” she continued. “The girls just don’t have the work ethic.” This brought a lot of backlash, she took down the original video and issued an apology, saying her words were misinterpreted.
Since then, Simone has shaded MyKayla‘s comments and revealed her former teammate blocked her on social media.
Now, MyKayla has shared a new video calling for an end to all the hate coming her way, saying she and her family have been getting death threats.
