Coronation Street star Peter Ash has revealed what's next as he admits to enjoying his life after leaving the show, despite calling his exit a 'double-edged sword'.
Fans of the ITV soap were left in tears on Monday night (September 9) as they finally said goodbye to Paul Foreman, 17 months after he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease, the life-limiting illness that affects more than 5,000 adults in the UK at any one time and for which there is currently no cure.
Paul, who was first introduced to viewers as David Platt's cellmate before later making his way to Weatherfield to look for his twin Gemma Winter, was tragically diagnosed with MND in Apirl 2023. Since being diagnosed with MND, Paul's condition has continued to deteriorate, much to the frustration and sadness of Paul and the heartbreak of those around him.
