Mums hit out at 'disgraceful' state of children's play area in Lanarkshire park

Two mums from Wishaw have slammed the “disgraceful” state of the children’s play area in their local park.Alana Fraser and Michelle Fisher, who both have young children, told Lanarkshire Live that equipment has been vandalised and set on fire at the Memorial Park in Cambusnethan, and that the play area is often strewn with rubbish and broken bottles.Alana is mum to eight-year-old son Corey, he has health issues including hypermobility syndrome, which affects his joints, and autism.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
