Montana Brown details £2k doula experience as she reveals intimate birth details

Montana Brown has spoken candidly about her birth experience with followers in an Instagram Stories question and answer after the birth of her son Jude.

In a few of her stories, the first time mum, 27, talked about having a doula, which cost her £2k. A doula is a woman who supports pregnant women throughout their pregnancy and giving birth.

She explained that she would recommend doing hypnobirthing classes when asked what having a doula was like. She said that hers, a woman named Emma, was “really impactful” on the day she gave birth and “empowered” her during the labour process. “We used @themindfulbirthgroup they came recommended by a few people.

We had Em who did our hypnobirthing classes ahead of birth and she was also our doula. Honestly cannot recommend Em enough, she made me feel so empowered and taught me so much about birth, my choices and guided me through the crazy experience,” she wrote alongside a picture from one of the classes. “She was so impactful on the day especially with things not going to plan, she kept things calm and was mostly really helpful for Mark having to get everything ready for hospital and also communicated with the hospital team my preferences so that Mark could be really present with me I want more children and I can't imagine Em not being at the birth with all of them tbh [pleading eyes emoji]”.
