This is the moment a 'bomb squad' arrived on a Greater Manchester street after residents were evacuated from their homes. Police and firefighters have been in attendance on Ashfield Road, in Rochdale, this evening (February 15).

It's understood the evacuation follows the discovery of Second World War-era weapons, including rifles and grenades. The discovery was made as police responded to concerns for the welfare of a resident on the street.
