dailyrecord.co.ukKate Middleton is in the news again after the furore over her Mother's Day snap. The Princess of Wales issued an apology on her official social media accounts on Monday after admitting she'd edited the image of her and children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Kate hasn't been seen in public since her planned abdominal surgery in January - but she has been seen twice near her home in Windsor, once being driven by her mum, Carole, and then with Prince William in a car.The photo in question was taken by William and shows Kate and her children look happy and well but Kensington Palace won't share the original version.
But there is no suggestion from any type of reputable source that there was anything other than minor adjustments made to the original, reports the Scottish Daily Express.Kate attempted to calm the situation on Monday by saying: "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.
I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother's Day."She signed the message with 'C'.Despite all this, the gossip hasn't stopped, with some of the more outlandish claims appearing in Spanish newspapers.
