Scrambled eggs is a popular breakfast, but the dish can be tricky to get right.Even with cooking experience, it can be tough to get that desired fluffy texture and even the best efforts can result in a chewy, spongy mess.
If you love scrambled eggs but struggle to make them just right, a one Michelin-star chef has revealed the scientific technique to get them "perfect" every time.Renowned chef Paul Foster, who owns London eateries GrassFed and Salt, has shared how industry professionals make scrambled eggs "properly".
The author of How to Cook Meat Properly has taken to social media to explain the method while offering a video demonstration. In a clip shared on his TikTok account @paulfosterchef, the pro said you should first give three eggs a good whisk in a bowl and add nothing else like salt and pepper.
He added that the pan's temperature shouldn't get too hot as the secret to the perfect scrambled eggs is to cook them low and slow.As reported by the Mirror, he explained: "Put a knob of butter in a pan, just a warm pan…It's really important that it is just melting."Those who prefer to use oil to cook their eggs may want to change their tune, as Paul said another key tip for fluffy scrambled eggs is to use only butter, with no milk added to the mixture.
