The intensive hunt for missing TV doctor Michael Mosley has resumed this morning, with police focusing on a 'very dangerous' mountainous area.
At around 6am on Saturday 8 June firefighters began trawling a 6.5km radius of rocky mountains, which is all surrounded by sea, according to Manolis Tsimpoukas, who organises searches for missing people on the Dodecanese Islands.
When asked if there had been any sign of the 67-year-old doctor already, the search organiser said there had been "nothing, nothing", according to the PA news agency .
He also said if anything was discovered, they would "find him within an hour", according to the national news agency. It was revealed last night that the This Morning regular did indeed make it across the coastal path into the nearby town of Pedi as he was spotted on the main road at around 1.50pm on Wednesday afternoon. The discovery came after many believed he had gotten into trouble on the coastal path between St Nicholas Beach and Pedi.
