The 53-year-old Oscar-winning actor was seen carrying some boxes on his shoulder while filming at a honey bottling plant on Tuesday (June 20) in Bessemer, Alabama. Matthew was joined on set by young actress Angelina LookingGlass.
Not much is known about the film, but we do know that Matthew is playing the title character Amziah King and the film is set in rural Oklahama.
Variety reports that the film is described as a “deeply atmospheric, character-focused crime thriller set against the unique backdrop of remote Oklahoma.” Andrew Patterson, who previously wrote and directed the Amazon original movie The Vast of Night, is writing and directing the upcoming film.
