Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.
'Masked man' seen running from pharmacy in Scots town after attempted robbery
dailyrecord.co.ukA 'masked man' was seen running from a pharmacy after an attempted robbery in Grangemouth this afternoon.Officers were alerted to the incident at around 4.35pm on February 6 at theRowlands Pharmacy on Charlotte Dundas Court in the town.Nothing was stolen during the incident and police have now launched a probe to find those responsible.Speaking to the Record, a bystander said: “I was standing having a cigarette at my window and saw the guy running out of the chemist - they had a balaclava type thing over their head and it covered their face.“They ran off and then minutes later loads of police arrived and went running into the chemist.
They they put all the tape up and have been here since.”A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of an attempted robbery at a business on Charlotte Dundas Court in Grangemouth shortly after 4.35pm on Monday, 6 February.“Nothing was stolen and no one was injured.“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”Rowlands Pharmacy has been approached for comment.
